George Guest House

During our 3 days 2 nights in Sagada, we stayed at the George Guest House which is kindly arranged by Kimi.

We arrived at the inn exhausted and really hungry, we had the chance to have our first meal at Sagada in the guest house.

Our room rate was Php800 per night with private restroom. Pretty affordable for a twin bed room. Too bad we didn't got a chance to take a picture of the room because where too tired and excited to go out. I remember Kimi saying that, the PRO of the SAGGAS recommended this place because the owner of the inn is nice and it's affordable and close to everything else.

From Pasay City to Baguio City to Sagada, Mountain Province

It was our first trip for the year 2012. Evening of January 6th we started to travel from Manila to Baguio. We left at 11:45 PM at the Victory Liner Pasay City Terminal riding a Deluxe Bus. Bus fare is Php725. It has a private CR and spacious seats. You need to book it a week before the day of your travel. It was a good thing that we decided to take the Deluxe because it saved us a few hours of travel time.

Since it's ideal to travel to Baguio during night time. The three of us were all asleep during the whole ride. By the time I woke up, we were nearly at Baguio City. We arrived there at around 5:00 AM in the morning, a little to early for the first ride going to Sagada. So we tried to keep ourselves warm (yes, It's still cold in Baguio early in the morning.) by walking around the Lizardo Terminal and drinking some Taho. By the way, Lizardo Bus Line is the only bus company that travels from Baguio to Sagada. The terminal can be found around Dangwa. Bus fare is Php250. At around 5:30 AM the first bus arrived at the terminal. We left the station at 6:00 AM finally going to Sagada. On our way there, our eyes indulge to the beautiful scenery of The Mountain Province.

Although tired and still sleepy, every glimpse that our eyes had, are memories never forgotten. We even had the chance to see the steepest road we have ever passes, the distant from the edge of the rod is less than a size of foot. Keeping us on the edge of our seat, watching the tires of the bus closely if it's getting too close to the edge. That part really scared me. At 12:15 PM, arriving 15 minutes early than our expected time, we had finally step foot in Sagada.
